Stone Artworks/ Sculpture

Stone sculpture is the result of forming 3-dimensional visually interesting objects from stone. It is an ancient activity where pieces of rough natural stone are shaped by the controlled removal of stone. Sometimes it related to Fung-shui, which is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment.

Working on a symbolic level is very effective for two reasons. One, symbols resonate with certain energy. When you place a symbolic stone in your home you bring that specific energy into your home. For instance, the circle is seen in many cultures as a symbol of unity, enlightenment, and perfection. When you bring images of a circle into your home, you are bringing in the specific energy of the circle. The second and probably the most important reason symbols are effective is that stones have a connection with your subconscious mind.
